So, recently the Fiesta’s AC has been turning on full blast without warning from of full off position. Over and over. Another electrical gremlin to the long list.

Don’t make me delete you air conditioning!

Is it a button or knob? I f button, then there just might be crud under one of the buttons causing it to stick or trigger.

there might be DTCs set, if the automatic climate control module detects certain faults then by law it has to revert to defogger vents and 100% blower.

I don’t think it’ll set a P0xxx code, you might need a code reader which can read body (Bxxxx) chassis (Cxxxx) and network (Uxxxx) codes.

If you deleted your AC, you would have to *GASP* open your windows! Just think of the single molecules of dust that might float in. You'd have to clean the interior after every drive instead of only twice a day!

I can assure you, “crud” isn’t something that exists in my cars!!!

5 years old and it still looks like it rolled off the lot yesterday (rally lights exempted)

On the plus side, you’ll never run into such issues in the Forte? :P

I've been dying in that thing. Still, I have to admit it's growing on me

My car does the same thing, too. Blows full blast on feet and defrosters when the AC is off. And when it’s on, it blows full blast at whatever setting it’s on.

But my car is almost 25 years old and has a lot of miles on it. Your Fiesta is too new for that shit :(

I washed it yesterday and it hasn't since. I'm a firm believer that it was punishing me for lack of attention
